When they put the apostrophe in the wrong place, does that drive you crazier than if they just completely leave it out?
Yes, I think the extra or misplaced apostrophe is worse than none at all.
Also, isn't there an apostrophe in Hawai'i, or has that gone the way of the apostrophe in Hallowe'en?
